🎉 ARCH Development Receives General Operating Support Grant from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities
ARCH Development Corporation is proud to announce that we have been awarded a Multi-Year General Operating Support (GOS) Grant from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (CAH) as part of their Fiscal Year 2026 funding cycle.
This vital grant supports arts, humanities, and arts education organizations across the District—helping us continue our mission to nurture creativity, amplify local voices, and create accessible opportunities for artists and residents east of the Anacostia River.
We are deeply grateful to CAH for their continued investment in DC’s cultural ecosystem and for recognizing the impact of community-based arts organizations like ours. ARCH looks forward to using this support to further contribute to the vibrancy and creative spirit of the Anacostia community and beyond.
Thank you to CAH for your partnership and commitment to keeping the arts thriving across all eight wards.

The DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities (CAH) is seeking grant review panelists! 🎨
CAH invites arts professionals, educators, and community members from across the DC metropolitan area to serve as grant review panelists — individuals who evaluate applications for the agency’s arts and humanities funding programs throughout the year.
Panelists play a vital role in shaping how public arts funding is distributed by reviewing, scoring, and providing feedback on proposals that strengthen DC’s creative landscape.
Applicants with experience in the arts and humanities are encouraged to apply — including artists, curators, gallery professionals, arts administrators, educators, and arts writers or critics. DC residency is not required, and CAH seeks diversity in all forms, including age, race, gender, disability, artistic discipline, and background.
🕒 Commitment: 20–30 hours over 3–4 weeks reviewing up to 30 applications, plus an online panel meeting.
💳 Compensation: $250 gift card honorarium.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise and help support the District’s vibrant arts community.
