Last week, alongside , I was proud to join residents of Stepney, St. Ann, for the groundbreaking of a new $140 million rainwater catchment tank that will provide more reliable access to potable water for the community.
This investment is about more than infrastructure; it is about improving lives, strengthening resilience, and ensuring that development delivers real benefits to our people.
By continuing to invest in water security, this Government is building stronger, more resilient communities and creating a better future for all Jamaicans.🇯🇲💧

In the margins on the Island States Ocean Summit, I had the opportunity to meet with Motoyuki ISHIZE Director-General of the Latin American and Caribbean Affairs Bureau, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
We discussed the strong relationship between our nations, and the multiple partnerships that have benefited our people.
I thanked them for their leadership on matters of Environmental and Ocean governance.
