đź’§ Clean Water. Stronger Schools. Brighter Futures.

The Distant Relatives Project is launching its Clean Water Initiative and Facility Optimization Project at Dejach Geneme Primary School. With our team on the ground and the community fully engaged, we’re rebuilding school infrastructure, installing a new library, and breaking ground to bring clean drinking water to over 500 students and community members.

Join us in delivering clean water and an improved learning environment for students at Dejach Geneme Primary School.

Education thrives when basic needs are met—and together, we’re turning that belief into action. 🇪🇹✨

The Distant Relatives Project is proud to launch our next initiative in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where we are transforming Dejazmach Geneme Primary Schoolinto a more supportive, inspiring, and creative learning campus. This project includes expanding learning spaces, building a dedicated library, and restoring access to clean water—improvements that will positively impact over 3,000 students, families, and community members.

The work is officially underway, with completion anticipated in early Spring. We are deeply grateful to our partners, supporters, and community for making this possible and for your continued commitment to developing and empowering underserved communities around the world.

Together, we’re not just building infrastructure—we’re building opportunity. 🌍📚💧
