📍April Neighborhood Spotlight: United States Botanic Garden
📍The United States Botanic Garden (USBG) is the oldest continuously operating public garden in the country. Aiming to inspire people to appreciate plants, the USBG offers a peaceful oasis on the grounds of the Capitol. With exhibits featuring art made from plants, interactive elements, and the opportunity to learn something new; a conservatory with plants from across the country and the world; a jungle canopy; and outdoor gardens to wander through, visitors are encouraged to visit the USBG throughout the year to appreciate the new displays and see what’s in bloom.
📍Don’t miss the exhibit America’s State Flowers: An America250 Celebration. In celebration of the country’s 250th anniversary, the USBG will feature the official flowers of each U.S. state and territory from April 10 to October 12, 2026.
📍The USBG is open daily, with the exception of December 25. Admission during normal operating hours is free, and no tickets are required. Some programs and special events charge a small fee.
