Join us TOMORROW for Dialogue Circles: Perspectives on Global Education and Possibilities for the Future, hosted by the EDUC 6610: Globalization, Citizenship and Education class. Engage in meaningful round-table discussions with educators and community members as we explore diverse perspectives and envision the future of global education. Hosted at the Elliott School (1957 E St. NW), RM B12 at 5:15 pm.

Given the focus of this GW class on civic engagement and global citizenship education, we are adding a direct way during IEW to contribute to our local communities through a 2025 ALIVE! Food and Fund Drive Campaign. If you so choose and are able, on Tuesday, feel free to donate an item to the donation box, which I’ll bring to ALIVE! on 30 Nov. Some of the most needed items (in non-glass containers) include:
- Canned proteins (like tuna, chicken, beans)
- Cooking oil
- Cereal and oatmeal
- Peanut butter and jelly
- Rice and pasta
- Shelf-stable milk
- Dried beans and lentils
- Halal foods (no gelatin, please)
- Diapers and baby wipes
- Full-size unopened personal care items like soap, toothpaste, shampoo, and feminine hygiene products.

This conference style program allows you to engage with local Cuban educators through scholarly lectures and panels, collaborative exchanges, workshops, informal interviews, and site visits to education and cultural sites.
