Every celebration begins with a story. For Maggie and Will’s rehearsal dinner and welcome party at The Greenbrier Sporting Club, that story was one of family, tradition, and a shared love of the sporting life.

Hosted by the groom’s parents for dinner and the bride’s mother for the welcome party, the evening celebrated the couple’s passions, her love of equestrian sport and his devotion to golf, while honoring the deep connections both families share to The Greenbrier and to one another.

Inspired by the club’s heritage and mountain setting, the design featured plaid textiles, chinoiserie patterns, antique silver, rich leather details, equestrian-inspired accents, and abundant spring greenery. The result was a warm and welcoming mountain affair that blended sporting club tradition with family celebration—a fitting beginning to a memorable wedding weekend.

Few places possess a design identity as distinctive as The Greenbrier.

Drawing inspiration from Dorothy Draper’s exuberant interiors and the signature Carlton Varney blue woven throughout the property, we embraced a palette of bold color, timeless stripes, and garden-inspired florals. Seasonal blooms brought freshness and movement, while layered patterns paid homage to the hotel’s storied aesthetic.

The result was a celebration for Maggie & Will that felt intrinsically connected to its setting... an authentic expression of place, history, and enduring design.

We loved styling this garden party editorial for ’s spring catalog shoot at the beautiful , a project that felt especially meaningful as we continue to grow our presence in Rancho Santa Fe, home to our new West Coast office.

This marked our first partnership of this kind with a fashion label, and we couldn’t have imagined a dreamier setting to bring it to life. From layered floral tablescapes to effortless garden-party chic, every detail was designed to celebrate spring in Southern California.
