Eritrean Development Foundation

Established in 1955, the Keren School for the Deaf, is one of two boarding schools for children with hearing impairments in Eritrea. With the capacity to enroll about 90 students, the Ministry of Education partnered with the Global Partnership for Education to expand the residential infrastructure of the school and double its admission capacity. Under the "Leave no one behind" slogan, the school promotes the rights of children with disabilities and promotes learning outcomes and skills for employability for individuals with hearing impairments. The Eritrean Development Foundation is cordially inviting you to its upcoming fundraising dinner in St. Louis, Missouri on October 26, 2024. Join us to learn more about our current project which is supporting the Schools for the Deaf in Asmara and Keren, Eritrea.

All proceeds from the event will fund our project to purchase needed supplies for the Schools for the Deaf in Eritrea.
