Join Us for a Night of Dance, Joy, & Rejuvenation!

Friends, these are hard days. Take a break, dance it out, find your joy, and keep fighting!

What is it?

A good ol’ fashioned dance party! Think of it as a dance party in your living room…but with a little more space. We’ll have music, speakers, snacks, and people ready to release some tension and rejuvenate together.

Who?

Sarah Bramley and Keira Hart-Mendoza are your hosts for the evening.

Where is it?

📍 1430 Maryland Ave NE, Washington, DC

Formerly The Argonaut space, now the greenhouse-like space across from Daru at the corner of H St/Maryland/Benning/Bladensburg.
You might know it as, “Huh, I wonder what’s attached to that terrific family-run liquor store?” (Answer: H St Liquors!)

When is it?

If you’re making a night of it, there are a bunch of great new restaurants & bars on H St!

Why this date?

It’s the eve of the second Dance Protest in support of the Kennedy Center (). We’ll take a few minutes to learn the featured dance from the protest (totally optional—feel free to take a break instead!).

What does it cost?

💸 FREE! But if you’re able, we’d appreciate a $15 donation or any amount to help cover the space rental. Anything extra will be donated to a great cause.

✔ Nibbles to share (optional)
✔ If you’d like a drink, please purchase from H St Liquors (attached to the venue). Their only request is that we don’t bring outside drinks—help us avoid a fine!

What we’re looking for:
-Dancers with strong modern/contemporary technique
-Comfortability with partnering and improvisation
-Availability to rehearse on Fridays 2-5pm
