The Brookland Bridge

Hey neighbors, I know this is short notice but there will be an ANC meeting tonight about proposed development of the 3500 block of 12th street (the 8 properties starting at the corner on Monroe St. NE. I noticed the other day that the State Farm business on the corner is gone (see picture).

Here’s the meeting info:
Monday, June 3rd: Community Meeting – 12th Street Development
6:30 PM
Brooks Mansion (901 Newton Street NE), Brooks Room

Representatives from the Miller Group, the DC Historic Preservation Office, and other city agencies will discuss the Miller Group’s planned development of the 3500 block of 12th Street NE. Please attend to learn more and share your perspectives on 12th Street.

Note if you can’t make it tonight, the BNCA will host a second meeting with the Miller Group in the coming weeks.
