Now more than ever “it takes a village” to support young people and back Black excellence. As current and future college students face many challenges, I am so blessed to be able to continue the work and mission of my organization College Is Cool Inc (est 2008). Through the support of my village and team, this year, we gave over $20k in scholarship funding to graduating seniors, current college students, and graduate students perusing degrees in mental health fields of studies. These scholars and their families inspire me so much. I wish everyone the best of luck and let’s continue to support our scholars and the institutions they choose to learn at.
