Keile Popovich and Lina Sutro recently had the opportunity to join an with Emily Williams and the team for a bird’s-eye view of a local project focused on transportation management and mobility solutions in our valley. CLEER works alongside communities to create measurable progress toward clean energy and climate goals while supporting long-term economic development.

Did you know that nearly 60% of local carbon emissions in Garfield County come from transportation?

We’re incredibly fortunate to have passionate local leaders tackling these challenges and working to make transportation cleaner, more accessible, and more efficient throughout our valley!

Dandelion Days!🌼 What a fun and inspiring day. We loved being part of such a special community event! Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth, our generous raffle donors, and all the amazing volunteers who helped staff the tent throughout the day. We’re so grateful to be part of a community that shows up, supports one another, and celebrates together. 💛

Another incredible Adventure Film Festival in Carbondale is in the books—and the impact goes far beyond the screen. Here are a few sustainability wins you might not have noticed:

• A 99% zero-waste event—just one 10-pound bag of landfill trash, with the rest diverted to compost and recycling!
• A major shift to digital programs, saving over 100,000 sheets of paper!
• Thoughtful partnerships, including , featuring a second-term program that offered only lightly used or slightly damaged gear—nothing brand new!

Proof that a world-class festival can also lead the way in reducing impact. Nice work, 5Point!!!

In case you missed it…

The world can feel unpredictable—and the climate adds its own layer of complexity—but there’s still so much good unfolding if you know where to look.

Like this recent piece from “Renewables Hit Nearly Half of Global Power Capacity in 2025.” A powerful reminder that progress is happening, and momentum is building.
