Surrounded by our beloved community, this Yule we reflect on the sacred darkness of winter and together we kindle the light to carry into the coming year.

Connect DC’s Yule ritual and fellowship is an open, public pagan event. We meet on Sunday, December 21, at 11:30am at Two Rivers Sanctuary. Ritual begins at 12:00pm with a potluck fellowship after. All activities will be indoors. Everyone is invited, but not required, to bring a potluck dish to share.

Through our rituals, Connect DC creates sanctuary where we can reconnect to our deepest selves and to each other. Our rituals draw from the divine wellspring of joy, inspiration, and resistance in the living heart of our city.

At Lammas, we call to our gods and allies to raise energy to heal the waters of our local rivers, which flow into the bay and out to the sea to combine with the waters of the world.

Wear blue and/or white clothing — something that breathes (it is HOT and HUMID in DC)! Bring your drums, rattles, or other percussive instruments.

We gather at 11:30am at Hains Point Picnic Area A between the playground and the restrooms. Ritual will start at 12:00pm with a refreshing fellowship to follow.

Tonight’s full moon event is cancelled due to unforeseen repairs needed for the temple.

Feeling a bit untethered this month? You are not alone. Join us in gathering on the Full Moon this coming Tuesday, February 11, to refresh soul and recharge your spirit in community. Doors open at 7:00pm, ritual starts at 7:30pm.
