This evening our President had the honor of attending this year's DC Fire and EMS awards ceremony. Included among the award recipients were department members who responded to the January 29, 2025 mid-air collision over the Potomac River as well as those who went above and beyond in their heroic actions. Also Firefighter Technician Stephen Shipp, Jr, who passed away in the line o duty on April 15, 2025, was honored. Friendship Fire Association congratulates all of this year's award recipients.
