Attending the ACOG Congressional Leadership Conference is always a powerful reminder of why advocacy matters. ⚖️🤰🧑🧑🧒🧒🩷🩵
When physicians, advocates, and leaders come together with a shared purpose—to improve the lives of women and their babies—something special happens. The conversations are meaningful, the energy is inspiring, and the sense of camaraderie is real. We come from different communities and backgrounds, but we are united by the same mission: ensuring safer pregnancies, healthier families, and equitable care for every woman.
Advocacy doesn’t happen in just one way. It happens in hospital hallways, in community rooms, in classrooms, and on Capitol Hill. It happens when we speak up for policies that support maternal health, when we mentor the next generation of leaders, and when we collaborate across disciplines to solve complex problems.
What I appreciate most about this work is that it has never been about recognition. It’s about impact. It’s about using our voices, our expertise, and our collective strength to change systems and improve lives.
Grateful for the friendships, the collaboration, and the shared commitment to keep pushing forward—for women, for babies, and for the communities we serve.

Honored to have served as a panelist at the Jacksonville Urban League’s 2026 Thrive Event today. Being in a room filled with bright, motivated, and purpose-driven young people was truly inspiring. ❤️👏🎉🙌
I left feeling incredibly hopeful. When young people are surrounded by mentorship, opportunity, and community, amazing things happen. They begin to see their potential, believe in their future, and understand that success is within reach.
Real prevention starts long before problems arise. It starts with investment, connection, and guidance. When we pour into our youth—listening to them, encouraging them, and helping them navigate their paths—we are not only building leaders, we are strengthening our communities and creating safer futures.
Grateful for the opportunity to share, learn, and uplift alongside so many passionate voices. The future is bright. ✨

On this MLK holiday, I’m reminded that a purpose-driven life isn’t loud or performative.
It’s rooted in service, guided by love, and sustained by peace.
Purpose doesn’t always mean doing more.
Sometimes it means moving forward with intention.
Choosing compassion over chaos.
Choosing love, even when it’s hard.
Choosing to leave people and spaces better than you found them.
May we keep walking forward, grounded in peace and led by love. 🤍✨
With gratitude for Dr. King’s life, legacy, and unwavering love for humanity,

One day it hits you—
life is short, and your days are numbered.
Usually this realization arrives between a random ache that makes you nervous, or learning about the illness of someone “too young to die,” or simply realizing how quickly time flies.
Each day isn’t a bonus day.
It’s one less day.
Not to be dramatic… just factual.
We’re all out here living with an invisible clock.
No countdown app. No low-battery warning.
Just vibes and time quietly doing its own thing in the background.
And once that really sinks in,
you start moving differently.
Less people-pleasing.
Fewer “sure, I guess.”
More naps. More laughs. More intentional, meaningful relationships and experiences. More choosing what actually matters.
Because time is the one thing you don’t get refunded.
So spend it wisely—
and maybe don’t waste it on things
that won’t matter by next Tuesday. ⏰🤔💐
