Climate change is shaping agriculture across Africa with rising temperatures, droughts, and unpredictable weather. The Rural Women Farmers Association of Ghana and Ghana Federation of Forest and Farm Producers conducted a study last May, in order to highlight how women farmers are adapting to sustain food production in Upper East and West Ghana

The study highlighted how the women reported improvements in average farm income. Despite the barriers in these regions, women are addressing the constraints and continuing to prove resilience through challenges. The study demonstrates that women are at the forefront of climate resilience and contributing to food security despite limitations that are present.
