What makes the music industry hard is registering the song through a PRO, understanding splits, and ensuring the cue sheets are correct. On top of working through connections to land a placement. There’s a 100% split between the publisher and writer who splits 50/50 of the song. Then you have to factor tracking international royalties. It’s a dope feeling hearing the instrumental in the background. I’ll take this as another learning experience.
