Global Health Governance in a Divided World: Can Equity Survive Geopolitics?

In an era where global health is increasingly shaped by political divides, how can equity remain at the center of governance? This focus group discussion will bring together young professionals and students to reflect on the challenges of geopolitics, explore opportunities for collaboration across borders, and reimagine governance structures that prioritize fairness, solidarity, and inclusivity.

Join us on Sunday, September 21st at 3 PM GMT for a timely conversation exploring how global health governance can navigate geopolitical divides while safeguarding equity. This dialogue is organized in collaboration with the Commonwealth Youth Health Network, Consortium of Universities for Global Health, Amplify Health and Development in Africa, and IFMSA Asia-Pacific.
