A system where barriers decide who runs
before voters ever get a say

…April Fools

Or is it?

Help us remove barriers to the ballot.

BREAKING NEWS: More parties. More choices.

Rhode Island is taking steps to make ballot access easier for third parties and candidates.

If passed, this bill could open the door to more competition and give voters real options at the ballot box.

Larry Sharpe collected 42,000 signatures.
The rules said he needed 15,000.
They changed the rules after he started.
New number: 45,000.
He came up short by 3,000.
The judge agreed it was wrong.
Nobody fixed it.
This is how ballot access laws work in America.
Most people have no idea.

POV: How Wyoming lost half it’s women legislators 👉

02/27/2026

Counties are the backbone of Wyoming’s culture and this reform puts them back where they belong.

As our founder Lars Mapstead said, politics should reflect culture, not override it. This legislation restores the constitutional role of counties while ensuring every voter has an equal voice.

Even county clerks see the upside. Fewer ballot variations, simpler administration, and lower election costs.

BREAKING NEWS out of Wyoming 🚨

Historic electoral reform just gained major bipartisan support.

Senate File 114 would bring back whole-county districts for the state House, end convoluted single-member gerrymandering, and allocate seats based on population and each party’s actual vote share.

This bill would eliminate gerrymandering for good, enable Wyomingites to be better represented, and give third parties and independents a fighting chance.

The bill passed first reading in the Senate 27 – 4 and is now moving forward for further study. That alone is huge.

With educational support from the Voting Rights Foundation, this marks the first time in the mountain west that a state legislative chamber has advanced, on a recorded vote, a plan for proportional representation.

This is the beginning to unrigging the ballot in America.

We have reflected on our results for 2025 and we have several successes to celebrate. The next state we want to highlight is Indiana.

In Indiana, several lawmakers and public officials reported harassment and threats tied to their vote on attempted gerrymandering efforts.

This rise in political intimidation created a climate where fear began replacing open debate.

Political violence and intimidation silence voices, discourage participation, and weaken democracy.

We launched targeted campaigns addressing political violence and its impact on elections.

We sent emails and op-eds to document these trends and keep the issue visible.

We created a movement rallying against political violence with over 700 people signing our petitions.

We have reflected on our results for 2025 and we have several successes to celebrate. Over the next couple of weeks we will share different states stories.

In California, we focused on educating voters about ballot initiatives that impact election rules and redistricting.

Our primary focus was Proposition 50.

Prop 50 was promoted as an accountability measure.

In reality, it stripped CA voters of their rights to choose their politicians - unless you were in the preferred party.

We knew it was going to pass, so our educational materials asked progressives to look past the ballot language and understand the long-term consequences for fair representation. We targeted the cost of the elections and the long term consequences of handing more power to Sacramento.

This campaign performed exceptionally well.

Engagement was more than three times the national average response for mailers of this nature.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
- Martin Luther King Jr.

Every voter deserves fair maps, fair access, and a real voice in our elections.
