Your work as a woman business owner deserves recognition on a global stage.

NAWBO is proud to share the FCEM Awards, presented each year at the FCEM World Congress.

This year, the Congress takes place in Prague, October 4-9, 2026, and nominations are open now.

There are five award categories, and one of them may be made for you.

The Yvonne Foinant Award honors an inspiring woman for her dedication to women business leaders and her commitment within the association.

The Digital Entrepreneur Award recognizes women who have launched promising tech startups with innovative, forward-thinking ideas that are changing the market.

The Social or Environmental Impact Award distinguishes women entrepreneurs who have made a meaningful contribution to society or the planet through their business, whether through social responsibility, sustainable practices, or philanthropic work.

The Inspiring Entrepreneur Award celebrates women business leaders who have motivated and encouraged other women to pursue entrepreneurship, push through obstacles, and reach their goals.

And the Global Trade Excellence Award honors companies with outstanding achievement in international commerce, including export growth, innovation in global trade, sustainable supply chain practices, and measurable economic impact.

Applying is simple this year.

Fill out the form, upload your presentation, and submit.

July is Disability Awareness Month, and we want to take a moment to honor every woman in our community who is building a business while navigating a disability.

The entrepreneurial journey is already one of the most demanding paths a person can choose.

For women who are doing that alongside a chronic illness, a physical disability, a mental health condition, or any challenge that the world doesn't always see, the resilience required is extraordinary.

We see you.

We honor the creativity, the adaptability, and the sheer determination it takes to show up and build something of your own, often without the accommodations or support that should exist.

NAWBO exists to make sure no woman has to navigate entrepreneurship alone, and that includes ensuring our community is one where every woman feels genuinely welcome, valued, and supported.

This month and every month, we are grateful you are here.

We are currently performing routine maintenance on the NAWBO platform to ensure optimal site performance.

As a result, you may experience intermittent access or minor issues over the next few days.

Our team is actively monitoring the process, so there is no need to report any issues at this time.

We encourage you to try again after the maintenance concludes by Monday.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to ensure a seamless experience!

National Small Business Month may be behind us, but the contributions of women entrepreneurs deserve recognition year-round.

AI tools are helping business owners save time, improve productivity, simplify daily operations, and better engage with customers.

Expanding access to the training and resources needed to adopt these technologies will help more women-owned businesses grow and succeed.
