GW University Honors Program

Get out your hiking shoes and water bottles - Professor Ralkowski and GW TRAiLS will be leading a Spring Hike! Join us on Saturday, April 25th to the Great Falls trail in Maryland.
For this trip, we will begin on a gravel path known as the Towpath. Then we will proceed to Billy Goat Section A, which is 1.75 miles. This section is the most technical and challenging on the trail, with scrambling over angled rocks and some climbing. Then we will rejoin the Towpath for the last 1.5 miles to complete the loop. We will then end by going to Great Falls Overlook, which we will travel on a series of easy boardwalks and bridges to reach.
Lunch and snacks will be provided, but please bring your own water! The cost of attendance is $5, payable to the UHP Townhouse, in cash, by Wednesday, April 22nd. You must fill out the waiver and pay your fee to attend. Link to RSVP in story AND newsflash.

University Events is looking for student staff to work for Commencement Week 2026!

Commencement Week is an exciting time for the entire GW community. Students who are not graduating can join the celebration by applying to work at Commencement to be part of this important event for the University.

Existing on-campus housing may be extended to May 18 upon request.
