Congratulations to DC Food Project on successfully wrapping up their 2025-26 distribution! The inspiring DCFP has provided more than 5 million meals with behind the scenes support from DCCK!

A 2024 graduate of our training program, Gerald now works on our Materials Management Team. A series of tragic accidents, including one that befell him as a child, left him with lasting physical pain that he eventually began treating with drugs. He overdosed twice and nearly died. But someone who cared about him looked out for him, helped him begin his recovery, and find our training program. Now, he says, “We are a family. We work to help each other.
