Local businesses have the power to transform local economies.
At Nuru, we support rural farmers and pastoralists to earn more and build resilience for the long term through member-owned agribusinesses.
We’re proud to share that Nuru is an Impact Partner of Business Fights Poverty, a global network bringing businesses together to help tackle poverty and inequality.
Together, we’ll keep building practical, climate-smart ways for rural communities to move from uncertainty to long-term stability.

A resilience corridor is a place where strong communities stand together to disrupt spreading poverty and instability.
Remote, rural areas are increasingly exposed to global shocks and stressors, including climate change, expanding cross-border conflict, and economic pressure.
By strengthening rural communities' ties to the greater region, we can cultivate lasting resilience. This is particularly crucial for remote communities that are vulnerable to conflict.
