Concierge Tours

It was hotter than walking on the Sun in Washington, D.C.! The Sveinsdottir family from Orlando, Florida and Iceland and I managed to work around all the closed streets and detours in the city.
We toured Arlington National Cemetery and saw The Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and afterwards saw a Wreath Laying Ceremony that included the playing of 'Taps'.
Afterwards, we had a walk around our National Monuments. It was unanimous among us that the Lincoln Memorial was our favorite.

Here's a plug for the Yeti Backpack Cooler. This cooler kept 12 bottles of water ice cold throughout the day! Most of the water was consumed, some was poured on our heads!!

This is a lovely family and I hope they come back in the Fall!!

The Reeves family from New Mexico and Maryland had a great day to explore Washington, D.C. Our first stop was at the National Archives to see our founding documents and you can take pictures of them! We also saw the Deed of Gift for when France presented the United States with The Statue of Liberty!

We then had a nice stroll along our National Monuments before ending our day at Arlington National Cemetery where we saw Ruth Bader Ginsburg and The Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The Clark family from Houston, Texas found out first hand how closed roads hampers parking in Washington, D.C.!! On the positive side, we were able to cross streets with no fear of being struck by other cars!

We were able to walk around most of our National Monuments, then see our founding documents at the National Archives before ending our day at Arlington National Cemetery.
