Five years ago today, the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that Philadelphia couldn't shut out faith-based foster care ministries—or heroic foster moms Sharonell Fulton and Toni Simms-Busch—simply because of their religious beliefs. Fulton remains a landmark victory for religious freedom and children in need of loving homes.

Today marks 10 years since the federal government entered into a historic settlement with Pastor Soto and 400 members of his congregation, recognizing their right to freely use eagle feathers in observance of their Native American faith. Pastor Soto called the settlement "a victory for all people of faith."
