It’s been nearly a year since my last post! I’ve been busy making beads and soaking up family moments here in Alaska. While I’m still creating, I haven’t shared my projects publicly—until now 😅.
This summer was full of adventures—camping, fishing, and celebrating my oldest boy’s first salmon catch, while my younger two learned river safety and helped out.
We built a cedar smokehouse and made delicious dry fish. Our family grew to include chickens, bunnies, and adorable baby chicks.
I had the pleasure of leading two beading groups with some wonderful women and their little ones. Together, we’re navigating life—teaching our kids self-care, sharing our art, and showing respect for the land we cherish.
Last summer I completed the Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program and currently am in the MBA program at APU. We started homeschooling our oldest, and are prepping to homeschool all our kids.
Soon, I’ll be sharing photos of my finished pieces and works in progress. Thank you to everyone who’s taken an interest in my art—it truly means the world to me!
Your kind words and support inspire me. Creating art brings me immense joy, and I’m grateful to share that happiness with others!
