Coffee with Jasper. Jasper is Patti’s dog that she adopted from the ranch over 3 years ago. He was the first to come to ABR from Mat-Su Animal Shelter. When I go on vacation, Patti moves into the ranch and takes care of things. When she goes on vacation, her pups come to the ranch while she’s gone. Jasper is a good pup and loves attention. He’s on the security team. He barks at everything and continues long after whatever it was is long gone to make sure it stays long gone. He’s a good pup. We’re glad he gets to visit. Love you Jasper!

Doobie went on errands with me today. So, on the way home we stopped at Blondies Coffee Co. on FVL for a treat. I guess he figured his wasn’t big enough, so he started on the whip cream on mine when I wasn’t looking.

It’s time to get Rocky neutered and get his cherry eye fixed. You can see the cherry eye in his right eye in this picture. I won’t show you why he needs to be neutered. People are showing interest in Rocky, so we need to get this done so he can get a Furever home. If you would like to help out with the cost of the surgery, there’s a link to PayPal and Venmo on our website. There’s also the phone number for the vet clinic that will do the surgery if you would like to call them direct. Thank you in advance.

Coffee with Rocky. Sometimes having coffee with Rocky can be challenging. He’s extremely friendly and loving. Loves to play with the pups. The tragic time that brought him to the ranch is behind him and a distant memory now. He’s such a good pup. We’re so glad you’re here Rocky. We love you.!

Rocky will be getting neutered soon and his cherry eye taken care of. I’ll be posting the estimate later today. If you can help out, it would be appreciated. www.alaskabeagleranch.org.

Coffee with Pearl! Chuckit Ball Queen. Watching her chase it just cracks me up. When people are visiting, she won’t let it rest. If you’re not paying attention, she’ll put the ball down and bark at you until you throw it. She’s a gal that loved playing in the yard but will take a stroll if one of the others do. She wears a gps just in case. So glad she’s here. Love you Pearl.

Hey, you can now subscribe to the ABR page where you get exclusive post, videos, Facebook live, and more. Pearl is all excited. Click here https://www.facebook.com/61563925408548/subscribenow

Coffee with Lucy. She is such a sweetie. Loves her lap time and belly scratches. She tells the younger pups what she doesn’t approve of. She’s a member of the security team. Because of her efforts, the ranch has not been attacked by USPS, FedEx, UPS, or Prime drivers. She makes us all safe. So glad she’s here. I Love Lucy! ❤️

As many of you know, Alaska Beagle Ranch is home to a large number of senior beagles and hounds who have nowhere else to go. These sweet souls deserve comfort, love, and quality medical care in their golden years, and we are committed to providing that for them.

Unfortunately, the reality of caring for senior dogs is that veterinary expenses never stop. Routine wellness exams, medications, dental procedures, diagnostics, emergency visits, and ongoing treatments have pushed our expenses to record levels. To make matters even more challenging, veterinary care in Alaska is generally more expensive than in the Lower 48, making it especially difficult for rescues like ABR to keep up with the growing needs of senior dogs.

While we gladly provide this care, these expenses are draining our resources faster than donations are coming in.

Today, we urgently need your help.

Without additional support, we may be forced to temporarily stop taking in new dogs until we can catch up financially. That is a decision we desperately want to avoid, because every day there are dogs in need of rescue, medical care, and a safe place to land.

If Alaska Beagle Ranch has touched your heart, helped a dog you know, or brought a smile to your day, please make a donation today if you are able. Your support is needed now to help us continue caring for these wonderful senior pups who depend on us.

Here are ways you can support Alaska Beagle Ranch:

* Make a one-time donation

* Contribute directly toward veterinary care
* Share this post

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference.

Together, we can ensure these deserving senior dogs receive the care, comfort, and dignity they deserve throughout their golden years.

From all of us at Alaska Beagle Ranch and especially from the hounds themselves, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and awesome support. If you have any questions, feel free to message me or email me at [email protected].
