Adam Crum is a no-nonsense conservative for Governor — born and raised in Alaska, he helped grow a family business. He’s a doer. A problem solver.

Debated tonight at the Anchorage Republican Women’s Club Governor Debate at the Loussac Library.

Showing up matters. Showing up with a clear conservative vision, real executive experience, and fresh ideas for Alaska’s future matters even more.

Tonight I made the case for lower energy costs, a gasline that finally gets built, government that is accountable to Alaskans, and a next generation that has every reason to stay in this state.

Thank you to Judy Eledge and the Anchorage Republican Women’s Club for putting on a serious, substantive debate. This is exactly the kind of forum Alaska voters deserve.

Sixty days to the primary. August 18.

We have covered a lot of ground. We have been from Ketchikan to Kotzebue, and Deadhorse to Kodiak. A lot more to go. The conversations are getting sharper, the questions are getting harder, and the momentum is real.

If you are not following along yet, now is the time.

The House passing HB 381 is a genuine milestone. But I want to be honest with Alaskans about what comes next, because I have been in the room where these deals either get made or fall apart.

As Commissioner of Revenue I met with the investors and developers who looked at Alaska and walked away. Not because the resource wasn’t there. Because the regulatory environment was unpredictable, the process was slow, and they did not trust that Alaska would follow through. TransCanada took $500 million from the state and left. We cannot let that happen again.

Passing this bill gets us to the starting line. Getting to financial close with investors who have options all over the world is the real work. That requires a Governor who understands how these deals are structured, who can hold Glenfarne accountable to the terms Alaskans negotiated, and who knows when to push and when to get out of the way.

The Senate needs to pass this bill by June 19. And then Alaska needs a Governor who can run with it.

Out at the Golden Heart Family Fun Day in Fairbanks today. Seventy big rigs, heavy equipment, families out in the sunshine celebrating the people who keep Alaska moving.

I got to judge the truck show today. Climbing all over these rigs, admiring how clean and well maintained the drivers keep them. These are not just work trucks. They are a source of pride for the men and women behind the wheel and it shows in every inch of chrome.

The trucking industry is the system of this state. Every gallon of fuel in a rural community, every load of freight on the Dalton Highway, every piece of equipment on the North Slope gets there because a skilled Alaskan driver put it there.

Ambler is coming. LNG is coming. Critical minerals development is coming. The Dalton Highway is already running almost 200 trucks a day and we are about to ask it to carry significantly more. That road needs investment that matches what we are putting through it and it needs a Governor who treats the people driving it like the essential workers they are.

Thank you to Golden Heart Waste Management for putting on an incredible event every year. This is Fairbanks at its best.

Bob Craig marched in the Colony Days Parade in Palmer today representing the Crum/Craig ticket.

The Mat-Su showing up for one of its favorite summer traditions. Grateful to everyone who came out to march with us and to every Alaskan who lined the streets and said hello.

Thank you to Elite Towing and Big Dreams Transport for their support making it happen.

Trucker Appreciation Night at Golden Heart Waste Management in Fairbanks on Friday. Colleen and the kids came out with me and it was exactly the kind of evening I love most on this campaign. Real Alaskans, real industry, real community.

The highlight of the night was Black Gold Transport presenting a $5,000 donation to the United Way right there in the room. That is an Alaska company investing in the community it operates in. That kind of generosity deserves to be recognized and celebrated.

Truckers keep Alaska alive. Every gallon of fuel in a rural village, every load of freight on the Dalton Highway, every piece of equipment on the North Slope moves because a skilled driver put it there. My dad was a long-haul trucker before an accident took that from him. I grew up around this industry. I got my CDL. I know what these men and women deal with every single day.

As Governor I will fight for the infrastructure they depend on. The Dalton Highway needs serious investment before Ambler, LNG, and critical minerals development adds significantly more traffic. I will push for funding that matches what this corridor actually carries and treat the people driving it like the essential part of our state they are.

Thank you to Golden Heart Waste Management for hosting and to Black Gold Trabsport for leading by example.

The Alaska House passed the gasline bill this afternoon. I heard the news in Fairbanks, sitting with Interior Republicans who have been waiting for this moment for a long time.

A Fairbanks spur line is written into HB 381. The Interior gets gas. That is not a small thing.

As Commissioner of Revenue I sat across the table from investors who wanted to come to Alaska and walked away because the process was too slow and too unpredictable. That era cost this state years. This afternoon the House voted to turn the page on it.

The Senate has until June 19. The investors are watching. The communities that need this project are watching. Get it done.

The Seekins family hosted about one hundred fifty Alaskans for food, family, and a good time tonight. Bouncy castle going, kids everywhere, and I had to find my outdoor voice to be heard over the best kind of crowd noise there is.

The pig came from HIPOW, the annual Fairbanks fundraiser that supports the Catholic Schools of Fairbanks. Worth every bite and a good reminder that the best communities take care of their own.

Grateful to Ralph and everyone who came out tonight. This is Alaska at its best.
