Senior Driver Resource

Senior Driver Resource (SDR) is a web-based, innovative, interactive self-assessment tool used to identify possible safe driving risk factors. It can be completed on any digital device in a browser window.
Senior drivers are screened online for:

dementia

vision

reflex

medical history

rules of the road awareness

Upon completion of the online assessment, an electronic report is instantaneously generated and sent to the person taking the test.
SDR is a science-based evaluation tool and was developed with the collaboration of medical and vision professionals, aging services, law enforcement, as well as partners in the licensing industry and academia.
There will be more than 40 million drivers older than 65 by the year 2021(1). Senior Driver Resource is designed to help mitigate issues that prevent seniors from driving safely.

Senior Driving Resource is designed to help identify and address safe driving concerns, allowing the driver, the caregiver, or the health care provider to collaborate to keep the driver safely on the road.

Using a science-based screening tool, developed with the collaboration of medical and vision professionals, aging services, law enforcement, and academia, this test screens for dementia, vision, reflex, medical history, rules of the road awareness.

Upon completion of the on-line assessment, an electronic report is instantly generated and sent via E-mail. The results can be used to further discussion or action to assist the driver to continue driving safely.
