There’s a chain of events in an accurate and consistently accurate competition rifle, the sequence of operation of the firing mechanism starts with the trigger and yes it needs to consistently fire at the same pull weight. If it doesn’t start out right it generally doesn’t end right.
If there are inconsistencies in pull weight it comes back apart and corrections are made. This one is good even considering my shaky coffee hands.
