While this table might look a little chaotic, it's actually one of my favorite sights. It's full of projects in progress, ideas taking shape, samples being planned, and all the little details that go into bringing fun new things to the shop for you.

One of the reasons I'm able to spend my time here instead of behind a lawn mower is thanks to M Buse Contractors. Their dependable lawn care gives us the peace of mind that our shop always looks welcoming while freeing us up to focus on what matters most—helping our amazing customers, creating new quilt samples, planning events, and keeping the shop full of inspiration.

So thank you, M Buse Contractors, for helping us put our time where it counts. We appreciate everything you do!

Now... back to this "organized chaos." We have some exciting things coming your way!

The July Block of the Month pattern is now available in the shop, and I can't wait to see everyone's version!

This month's block introduces a technique that was completely new to me... and I'll admit, I didn't quite get it right the first time.

But after a little trial and error (okay... a little seam ripping, too), it finally clicked—and I have to say, I really enjoyed it! That's one of the things I love most about quilting. There's always something new to learn, and every project helps build your skills.

Don't let a new technique intimidate you. Sometimes the blocks that challenge us the most end up becoming our favorites.

The 2026-2027 Creative Spaces Studio Mystery Quilt is officially ready!

After months of designing, planning, testing, and more math than I care to admit, I'm so excited to finally kick off this year's mystery quilt adventure!

The official fabric requirements are now available. Stop by the shop or send us an email, and we'll get you everything you need to start planning your fabric selections. Not sure what fabrics to choose? I'd love to help! One of my favorite parts of quilting is helping pull fabrics together, so don't hesitate to bring in your ideas, photos, or fabric pulls. Whether you're shopping from your stash, selecting fabrics from the shop, or trying to decide between a few options, I'm happy to chat through your choices.

I cannot wait to see all the beautiful combinations everyone comes up with for this mystery. It's going to be so much fun watching the quilt come to life clue by clue!
