Today’s diagnostic surprise: the wrong spark plugs with broken ceramic insulators and bent terminals. Comparing it to a proper plug makes the problem pretty obvious.
A good reminder that the right parts matter.

Every outboard that comes through our shop gets a compression test and spark test before diagnosing anything else.
Why? Because guessing costs time and money, testing gives us facts. A proper diagnosis starts with knowing the engines health first.
