Film Screening & Discussion with Primary Source on Nov. 18
As part of our HistoryThon campaign to amplify African American history, we invite you to join us for a screening of the documentary "Invisible Warriors: African American Women in World War II," which illuminates the wartime challenges and triumphs of 600,000 Black “Rosie the Riveters” – pioneers who courageously battle racism and sexism to help win the war and created job opportunities in industry and government for all future generations of African American women. They are arguably the most significant group of Black women in the 20th century.
