THE FLORIDA FREEDOM TOUR IS COMING TO HARDEE COUNTY 🇺🇸

The Hardee County Board of County Commissioners invites the community to experience the Florida Freedom Tour on Monday, July 27, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Pioneer Park. Admission is free and open to the public.

Presented in support of the America 250 commemoration, the Florida Freedom Tour is a statewide traveling museum bringing Florida’s history directly to communities across all 67 counties. Two mobile exhibits will share the story of Florida—from its beginnings as the 14th colony to its growth and development during the 20th century.

This unique educational experience offers residents and visitors of all ages an opportunity to explore the people, events and milestones that helped shape our state.

During these workshops, the Board will review and discuss the proposed Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget, departmental funding requests, and budget priorities that help shape the services provided to our community.
