Participants in our Lifeguarding Certification Course, taught by Tracy Wright Pate, successfully completed swimming prerequisites, water rescue training, CPR/AED, First Aid, final skills assessments, and a written exam.

These dedicated individuals have demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and professionalism needed to respond confidently during emergencies. Upon successful completion, participants earned an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification valid for two years.

🏀 Get Ready for Summer Fun and Future Hoops!

The FREE Basketball Camp, proudly hosted by First Christian Church, is happening June 8–11 at the Hardee Senior High Gymnasium! This is the perfect opportunity for kids ages 8–12 to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and get a head start for next year’s Youth Basketball League.

Camp runs Monday–Thursday from 9:30 AM–2:30 PM, and lunch is provided — all at no cost to families.

Throughout the week, campers will enjoy basketball drills, games, teamwork activities, and encouragement from caring coaches and volunteers in a safe, positive, and uplifting environment. Whether your child is brand new to basketball or already loves the game, every child is welcome.

This camp is also a great opportunity for children to prepare for our upcoming Spring Youth Basketball League while growing both on and off the court and having fun along the way.

✨ At the heart of this camp is community — neighbors supporting neighbors, kids cheering each other on, and creating a place where every child feels included, valued, and encouraged.

MASTER SWIM / LAP SWIM 🏊‍♂️

Do you love to swim and want a great way to exercise this summer? Join us for Master Swim at the pool! 🌊💪

This is an adults-only swim time designed for swimmers who want to stay active, improve endurance, or simply enjoy swimming at their own pace.
