Big congrats to two very special clients last week! They both trusted us enough to close on Friday the 13th 😅🏡
First up—congrats to my amazing sellers! We first met at an open house (proof you never know where you’ll meet your agent 👀). We found and secured their next home, then got to work selling their current one. Coordinating both sides could’ve been stressful but it all came together beautifully.
And on the flip side—welcome to Des Moines! So grateful for the referral from a friend who trusted me to help their family member make a move from afar. That kind of trust means everything. We scored a great deal on a home with so much potential 👏 I can’t wait to see how they bring it back to life!
Moments like these are a great reminder that real estate is all about relationships, trust, and a little bit of magic along the way ✨

This is my love letter to Dallas Center- Grimes.
To the rustling streets in Grimes, the quiet morning walks on the Raccoon River Trail, the small businesses that give downtown Dallas Center its character, and the neighborhoods that all feel completely different depending on the block you’re on.
I love the rhythm of life in Grimes. The way weekends look on courts supporting my son, hearing the birds chirp as I look out our back window to see the horses, and the mix of old and new that defines so much of Grimes, Iowa living. From the small town feel to walkable pockets near shops, restaurants, and parks, this city has a way of pulling people in.
Whether you’re relocating to Grimes, IA, moving from another part of Iowa, or simply thinking about buying or selling a home in central Iowa, there’s a reason so many people choose to build their lives here.

“Can’t sell house” searches are higher now than they were in 2008.
And yes, some homes in Central Iowa are sitting.
The homes in Central Iowa that are priced accurately for today’s market and presented strategically?
They’re still selling the first weekend.
Buyers in Iowa haven’t disappeared. They’ve become selective.
Overpricing gets ignored.
Poor presentation sits.
Strong strategy wins.
The real question isn’t: “Can I sell my house?”
It’s: “Who’s the best advisor in Iowa to make it happen?”
