July 2018 I bought my first disc golf discs and I never looked back. Since then I have been playing consistently.

Yesterday was full of ups and downs. First I got to meet Morgan Beaver another member of Team RPM at the IOS #138 Case Jackson Memorial presented by Discontinuum disc golf tournament. Then my first throw of the day I went OB and got a double bogey. After that I felt on fire for the rest of the first round landing myself on the lead card in the second round. The second round was a struggle. I was giving great drives then not finishing the hole. Part of the course I had never played before and it showed. At the end of the day I did accomplish a couple of firsts. It was my first time winning a first round card and first time being on the lead card for a PDGA event. I want to thank all the members of Discontinuum Disc Golf Club that made this event happen. I also want to thank RPM Discs for their support and the amazing discs. Last and definitely not least I want to thank all of you following my disc golf adventures.
This year besides stepping up with my disc golf game, I am looking to step up my fitness. With this I decided to participate in the Army Double Eagle Fitness Challenge. Over the next 10 weeks (weekly) I will be doing cardio run/walk/ruck 12 miles, bike 40 miles, swim 3200 meters, or elliptical/rower 15 miles (can mix and match). Along with 45 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training, 5000 pounds of Resistance training, and 60 minutes Tactical Mobility Active Recovery and Mindfulness. I did a similar challenge that wrapped up a few weeks back and the biggest issue I ran into was time management and discipline. The easiest thing to do is sign up. The difficult part is the follow through. Same as in disc golf, it's easy to get out there once, but it's difficult to get out there day after day and improve yourself on the course.
