Second day of the Mercury National Walleye Tournament gave my son Jimmy and I the cold front blues. Our goal was to keep only fish 17" or bigger. First fish 17 1/2", second fish 17 1/2", third fish 18" then came nothing but small fish. We finished in the top 100, had fun. Next year!

Wow what a weekend. Saturday Casting for Kids fishing tournament. A great event that raises money for Children's cancer research in Madison WI. The young man in my boat caught his first ever Walleye 20", then his first Pike 24" plus many other fish. Great time for a great cause. Then on Sunday fishing with Waukesha High school fishing club on Pewaukee Lake. The two young men in my boat kicked butt and caught fish. They got Pike, walleye, crappies and Bluegill. A great day on the water with the next generation of anglers.
