I need some opinions!! Traditional cabinets or open shelving for top cabinetry?!
I am working on the new kitchen layout for our house that caught fire and I’m considering going with open shelving, however several cabinet guys have told me that while open shelving looks nice in pictures it’s not very functional...
Has anyone gone with open shelving for themselves? Do you love it on a daily basis?
The first picture below I snagged from Pinterest, and the second picture is a draw up of our kitchen plan that I’m trying to decide about (you can see the upper cabinetry is fairly small.)
