We hate to even have to make a post like this, but we want to give everyone a heads up.

One of our waitresses recently received a fake $10 bill as a tip, and based on timing, we’re assuming it may have happened during Swampfest.

While we loved being part of a busy, exciting weekend in our town, situations like this are disappointing... not just for our business, but especially for our hardworking staff who depend on those tips.

We want to encourage all local businesses to be on the lookout for counterfeit bills that may be circulating in the area.

Please know we take this very seriously.
Anyone who attempts to pay with or leave counterfeit money will be reported and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
