More than any other group, people 65 and older are susceptible to danger in extreme heat.And chronic diseases can affect one's ability to fight off dangerous side effects caused by sudden temperature changes. As the summer continues on take care and stay safe with these tips:
☂️ stay in the shade
🧥 wear clothes to cover your skin
🧴use sunscreen and apply it correctly
👒 wear a wide brim hat
🕶 wear sunglasses that block UVA & UVB rays
🚫 avoid tanning beds, booths and sun lamps
