Crab Island at Destin from 9,000 feet! Flew by this morning from Louisiana and that place is still packed!

Fufun fact: there's an airport just minutes away from here that you can fly into as a private pilot. Why drive forever when you can get there in a fraction of the time?

Today we had the pleasure of partnering with First Flight Georgia so fly a bunch of kids and teens around! It was a ton of fun for the pilots and the kids!

Today, Corey flew to Perry, Ga as a student pilot and left as a certificated private pilot! He's been flying for a while and needed the final push to get things done, so we made it happen. Super excited to have helped him with this!

Congratulations to Will! A few weeks ago he earned his private pilot certificate. And today he earned his tailwheel endorsement! Neither of these are easy tasks,so he had to work for them, but he absolutely got it done!

Another proud CFI moment! Today, Rith got to fly a plane all by himself!

Hitting that first solo is a huge accomplishment and big step towards getting his private pilot certificate. Next up, we'll start flying at night, further from home, and hitting the other requirements to get him ready for checkride.

Last minute flight to Lagrange in the rain? Not a problem. Many planes are equipped with suitable equipment to provide navigation and weather information. This makes it safer and easier to deal with changes that occur en route.

Proud CFI moment today. :)

Congratulations to Will Rogers on completing his Private Pilot Checkride today! He's been hard at work for several months, had the setback of hitting a bird with a plane and having to transition to a different plane to complete his training, and still got it knocked out. He's officially got his "license to learn" and can go out and enjoy the benefits of his hard earned certificate.
