Elysium Studio

Today marks day 2555, SEVEN years of opening my first business at Sola Wayne! I am so grateful for the opportunity Sola gave me to be able to afford to open a business and be free of the regular boundaries of working in a salon. Being booked and busy is awesome and fulfilling but at the same time it is hard work. A lot of sweat and hours on your feet. It is worth it for the great relationships I’ve made and the satisfaction to make someone feel good. This is officially my 30th year in the beauty industry and I wouldn’t ever look back and regret the decisions I have made. I always wanted to do hair for a living, since I was 3 years old. I get to make people feel confident and look their best. I get to share so many momentous happy and sad and exciting times in my client’s lives. I am not a hairdresser that has ever boxed myself into one service or one age group for clientele. I am a well rounded stylist and love the day to day different fun things I get to play with. I do many generations of families. I have clients for literally 28-30 years. This says so much about the relationships I have built. I take pride in my integrity to strive to make everyone happy. It is hard to have boundaries, but when you do, you realize who respects you and your time. The others fall away and I couldn’t be more satisfied in my successful, thriving, little hair studio, Elysium Studio. My baby. My love. I am so proud and satisfied to be able to make my own hours and have freedom like I never had before. I am beyond grateful to my loyal clients. I thank my family and friends for supporting me. Most importantly, cheers to Sola for making my dream come true! And Happy 7th Birthday Elysium Studio! Many many more years to come!!!
