The Dance Program at PCTI The School of Performing Arts' Dance Program is an intense four year curriculum. Admission is based on auditions.
Today in class, our dancers explored Horton technique while reflecting on what they’re grateful for 🧡🍂
As we move closer to Thanksgiving, students used gratitude as inspiration — transforming their reflections into group choreography built from intention, connection, and joy.
We are deeply thankful for our students and the safe space we share with them every day —
a place to grow,
a place to move and create,
a place to be seen, heard, and supported,
a place to be with the people who feel like home.

Our NHSDA members choreographed, rehearsed, and presented “Sing, Sing, Sing” during our Veterans Day Assembly. 💃🇺🇸
Giving back through our art is at the heart of our mission — using our gifts to connect, inspire, and express gratitude. This was a truly special opportunity to dance and say thank you to all who have served.

✨ No reason to dance in high school… except to build your career. ✨
Our dancers had the incredible opportunity to take class with Daniel Padierna, professor at Adelphi University! 💫 Students not only took class with him but also got to ask questions and learn more about what it’s like to study dance in college.
We’re helping our dancers dream bigger, prepare for their next steps, and see just how many paths the arts can open. 🎓💃🕺
