Fore The Valley

These young people put in some work at this year’s KCMS golf club. 8 days over 2,500 golf balls hit and two nine hole par 3 rounds played.
It has been an honor for Fore The Valley to sponsor/organize this club for a second year and an even greater honor to get to know these fine student athletes.

It is with deep sadness to inform you one of our beloved volunteers, Harvey Ball, has passed away. He was an incredibly generous man that the kids absolutely loved! One image that I will always remember is last year Harvey had his group of kids to teach and he had them laughing, engaged, and really enjoying themselves. As the school bus was loading his whole group ran back to give him a group hug. This is who Harvey was, a man who built custom golf clubs for field trips for kids who have never played the game before, a man who would hand us a check when no one was looking and say "make sure the kids the get the good ice cream." We will ALL miss you and are so grateful for the time you shared with us.
