Two of the finest basketball players Parker County has ever seen are on the move. The All-WD Co-MVPs committed to their next landing spots to continue their playing careers.

For Weatherford's Kamryn McDonald, he's headed to the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas.

And in a shocking turn of events, Brock's Eli Paez will not be an Eagle for his senior year. He'll join Dynamic Prep High School in Carrollton.

All-Weatherford Democrat MVPs make future plans to play The 2026 All-Weatherford Democrat Co-MVPs, Brock’s Eli Paez and Weatherford’s Kamryn McDonald, have made their decisions on where to play next.

Peaster ISD is excited to welcome Coach Michael Swenson as our new Athletic Coordinator and Head Baseball Coach! 💙⚾️

Coach Swenson brings more than 21 years of experience in education and athletics and a proven track record of building successful programs and developing student-athletes. Most recently serving as Assistant Athletic Director at Weatherford ISD, he has also spent two decades leading athletic programs and coaching at Iowa Park CISD.

With over 300 career baseball wins, 11 district championships, 34 playoff series victories, and five regional final appearances, he has demonstrated excellence both on and off the field. More importantly, he is passionate about helping students grow into well-rounded individuals through athletics and academics.
