One Thing You Notice Pretty Quickly Is How Different Every Child Is.
Some come in full of energy ⚡ and want to try everything right away. Others take a little time to warm up, observe 👀, and get comfortable before jumping in. Some are naturally outgoing, and others are more reserved at first.
And honestly, that’s exactly how it should be. ☺️
There’s no one “type” of child that belongs here. The goal isn’t to change who they are, it’s to help them grow from where they are. Over time, you start to see each kid open up in their own way, on their own timeline.
That’s what makes it so rewarding to watch. 🥋

You ever get so focused that the rest of the room disappears?
This kid gets it.
One thing I’ve noticed:
Confident kids aren’t usually born confident.
They’re the kids who keep trying after failing a few times.
That’s why we let students struggle a little before stepping in to help.
That’s where confidence comes from.
