Webster Police K9 Unit

On March 13th, we formally introduced to the Selectmen a new Patrol K9 named Bolo. K9 Bolo is taking over for K9 Lee, who passed away last year from a rare condition named Lyme Nephritis. We also formally introduced to them our newest team, Officer Thomas Motyka and K9 OJ. K9 OJ is named after Detective Cynthia Johnson, who passed away in 2017. Pictured are our K9's who attended the meeting as well as members of Detective Johnson's family.

Today K9's OJ and Murphy were at the Food Truck festival at Webster Lake and got to meet Jan Garabedian and her friends from Paws 4 Blue K-9. This is a Massachusetts based non-profit which assists active and retired K9's. As you can see, they were a big hit with the people stopping by their tent!
