This week we started applying our Bee Friendly grub control. Grub worms can do extensive, costly damage to your lawn. The most effective way to mitigate that is by applying an insecticide. However, unfortunately bees are insects, and susceptible to most insecticides. We use a “Bee Friendly” product, and have for several years now. We’ve been getting plenty of rain, but that could change soon. If you have an irrigation system, now is the time to get it ready. Plus the water company is going to want that back flow test sent in. Let us know if we can help.

These April & May rains really have the grass green and growing. If you have to mow watch out for wet spots, keep those blades sharp, and try not to take off more than 1/3 of the grasses height in a single mowing.
