The importance of investing in sustainability efforts is clear to 4G's Forecasting Lead Dr. Nicolas Biber who has a background in environmental science and conservation. In his spare time he is an advocate for climate action and conducts research on plastic contamination in the environment, and 4G is proud to foster a workplace that supports these important efforts:

We had an amazing time at the Pharma IT & Digital Health Expo this week, hosted by Informa Markets in Asia at the Tokyo Big Sight.

Big thanks to Gakusho Rin, our Client Services Lead, who teamed up with Shunsuke Osawa, the Clinical Supply Manager at Shionogi, to deliver an insightful case study. They talked about how we use our innovative and optimization software to make managing global drug supply complexities more efficient for late phase clinical trials.

We're excited to showcase Takuya Kitami, our Country Director for Japan, in the latest installment of our Employee Spotlight series at 4G Clinical!

With over 12 years of experience in clinical trial logistics and supply chain management, Takuya brings valuable supply management expertise from both CRO and vendor organizations across Asia, particularly in Japan. His journey began managing clinical trial sample logistics from study sites to central laboratories. As Country Director, Takuya's main focus is building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in Japan and the APAC region, while also supporting various internal departments like HR, Finance, and Facility. In addition, he ensures that our office adheres to all government regulations. Takuya also plays a vital role in promoting market and commercial activities in Japan, while maintaining the quality of all studies conducted in the country.
