Meet Cody 💛🐾
Cody is a senior Yorkshire Terrier who came to us after his mom noticed he was crying out in the middle of the night and intermittently struggling to bear weight on his hind legs. For an older dog like Cody, even small changes in mobility can significantly impact comfort, sleep, and overall quality of life.

His mom was understandably cautious about long-term systemic medications given Cody’s fluctuating appetite and sensitivity to side effects. On top of that, strict rest and heavier medication protocols simply weren’t realistic for him and his lifestyle. She also wanted to keep his care as low-stress as possible.

That’s where acupuncture and laser therapy became such an important part of his treatment plan!

Acupuncture was chosen to help support Cody’s comfort in a gentle, drug-sparing way helping reduce pain, improve circulation, and support joint function without adding extra strain on his body. For senior pets like Cody, this type of therapy can be especially beneficial because it focuses on whole-body balance and long-term comfort rather than simply masking symptoms.

And the results have been incredible.

After just his first acupuncture session, and with consistent weekly treatments since, Cody has made tremendous progress. No more nighttime crying out in pain. His mobility has improved significantly. He’s back to following his mom around, getting his zoomies in like he used to, and moving with much more confidence and ease 🐾✨

Even better he genuinely enjoys his visits pain free! When Cody and his mom come in, he just runs directly to his room. He knows where to go!
His mom couldn’t be happier with his progress, and we love seeing Cody walking in feeling better and leaving even better.

💛 Have you ever tried acupuncture or laser therapy for your pet? Drop a comment below we’d love to hear your experience or answer any questions!

Enjoy this sweet moment of the two of them 🐾

Feline dental health matters just as much as it does in dogs and unfortunately, cats are incredibly good at hiding discomfort. 🐱🦷

Many cats with painful dental disease continue eating, acting normal, and quietly living with chronic pain because they naturally mask signs of illness. By the time obvious symptoms appear, significant disease is often already present.

This sweet kitty recently underwent a dental procedure and needed multiple extractions due to advanced dental disease. The good news? Once those painful teeth were removed, he recovered beautifully and was already eager to eat the very same day. 💛

Dental disease doesn’t just affect the mouth it can impact comfort, appetite, grooming habits, and overall quality of life.

Some subtle signs to watch for:
• Bad breath
• Decreased grooming
• Dropping food while eating
• Preference for softer food
• Pawing at the mouth
• Hiding or becoming quieter than usual

Routine dental care can make a huge difference in helping our feline friends live happier, more comfortable lives. ✨
